It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Well folks, it’s that time of year again. The time of year when even a band as sad as Caulfield Rebellion might take the time to write a..less sad song, but, probably not. So with that said, here goes an estimated rundown of the looks of things to come for Caulfield Rebellion over the next couple of months:

Red Cross Fundraiser: We would like to thank all those who participated in our Red Cross fundraiser sale. Although the complete show did not come to fruition in the way we had originally hoped, we still managed to scrounge up a few bucks for some people who could really use it. Plus, you look hot in that new Baseball-T, so fuck it.

RECORDING: We have a decent amount of new material written that we have also been playing live for a while, so it’s about time we made it official. We are currently in the process of organizing some studio time and we hope to have some new tunes out for you all later on this winter.

THE MOMS: We’re stoked out out of our minds to be playing alongside our brothers in blessing The Moms for their record release show on Januhairy 18th. The Moms will be releasing  their killer EP “Viva!” via Panic State Records on 7″ vinyl and us, well, we’ll be drinking a lot, so come on down!

MIAMI!: First, on December 16th, Jake Fein goes to Miami to play alongside the likes of Devalued, They Eat Their Own God and Sex List at the treasured Churchill’s Pub. Then, Miami comes to Delaware on January 22 in the form of Baker Acted. Get stoked!

(Delaware) Facebook Event Page: Coming soon…

So, now that you are all up to date, we truly hope to see you out there in the world somewhere along the way having a kickass time with us doing whatever it is we’re doing.

Happy holidays to all, and to all a goodnight.

P.S. Be sure to check out our Newark, DE digs over at 209 Murray Road. Thank you to everyone and anyone who has made that place as awesome as it is. Keep up the good work.394472_407335592648410_1325307569_n

Hurricane Sandy Relief

Hello friends,

First off, Caulfield Rebellion would like to share our sincere concern and remorse for  all those affected by the devastation caused by the recent Hurricane Sandy. The North Eastern U.S. is not too unfamiliar to us as a band, it is where we reside, where we have toured, and where many of our friends and families live and breathe. And so, in support of the relief efforts currently taking place, Caulfield Rebellion will be donating 51% ( for the soon to be 51 United States of America ) of all proceeds from merchandise sales, both online and in person, for the next two weeks leading up to and past the 11/17 benefit show at 209 Murray Road in Newark, DE to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. All donations will be made out to The American Red Cross.

Thank you all for your continued support, hope to see you soon.

“Cowboy Stuff”…And Stuff

So the final mixing and mastering for the “Cowboy Stuff” recordings have been finished. Recorded at Attack! Conquer! Studios in Pearl River, NY, mixed by Andrew Nicodema and mastered by Dave McManus, the  “Cowboy Stuff” EP has a planned full release within the next month or two. One currently undisclosed track will be finding its way onto the compilation CD for FRESH FEST 5 put on in Tallahassee, FL where we will be playing at the end of February (a track or two may or may not be posted by us in the next couple weeks so keep an eye out).  We’ll keep you up to date on future plans and whether we actually plan on completing them or not.

Cheers,

“Cowboy Stuff”

Recording for our upcoming EP release entitled “Cowboy Stuff” have been finished. We recorded the tracks over Thanksgiving with our good friends Andrew Nicodema and Travis DeRisi in Pearl River, NY. The tracks are currently being mixed, we are planning on a full release some time after the New Year. Stay tuned for early releases and album info as we will be giving out some sneak peeks along the road to the release date!

Hey!

Attention Delawarians, Marylanders, and Southeastern Pennsylvanians (fine, Jersey, you too):

Come catch Caulfield Rebellion, Caseracer, and Into It. Over It TOMORROW AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE IN NEWARK, DE

Me and Crispy won’t be there cause we’re down in Florida trying to get real jobs to pay for the next tour (and food) but you’ll still get Jake, Wiggles, and substitute bassist extraordinaire Cody “MAD DAWG” Harrington, scourge of the old west. Jake’s gonna try to play rhythm and lead guitar at the same time, so that’s gonna be entertaining at least.

More shows coming soon and we got some stuff planned for the end of the November so keep checking in. And if you haven’t already, go download SPITE right now. Its FREE!

Speaking of selling out…

we got a facebook. I, personally, am against it. Facebook’s creepy. But whatever, I was outvoted. That’s the problem with democracy, kids.

So, yeah. Facebook. It’s here. Go friend us or like us or whatever. Just don’t be a creep.

But I’m serious guys, there is an internet outside of facebook. If you want say what’s up or tell us we suck or communicate with us, there’s a perfectly good comment box under these posts. We got a sweet bandcamp page that works way better than facebook’s player. And you can even donate to our paypal account through it! (wink) What I’m saying is feel free to blow your load all over our wall over there until you just can’t anymore, but you can also log out and bring the conversation over to our little sketchy drug-dealer apartment of a website.

but really facebook scares me

Ok, you win

SPITE is now free for download on our bandcamp page: CLICK

I’d like to thank our friend Carter, who’s the only person to actually pay for the album online. THANKS CARTER!

The rest of you can now go download it for free. We know y’all are poor punk rockers, but so are we and we needed gas money. But now tours over so we’d much rather you guys just have the music. If you feel like throwing us some bones, you don’t have to pay nothing, you can chose your own price.

We’re setting up physical orders through bandcamp soon too. Those’ll be $5 probably and you’ll get a physical CD with some awesome art and maybe a thank-you note drawn in crayon. And I (Matt) will PERSONALLY mail it to you from my secret underground compound in the Florida swamp. We’ll let you fools know when that’s ready.

Now, go, DOWNLOAD

Summer Tour, Is No More…

The end of Caulfield Rebellion’s first tour as a full four peice band has come to an end. We hope that anyone who came out to see us had their faces melted and their ear-drums popped or at the very least enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank everyone and anyone who helped us out along the way by putting us up for the night or by sharing a stage with us including and not limited to, [Dylan from Navarre, FL, Zach (Back to Bouvet)  and Valari from Cleveland, The Blueberry House in Akron, OH (Face-Paint), The Boo-Box in Cleveland, OH (The Ohioans and Erin Earthling), Tower 2012 in Cleveland, Matt Felitto from Pearl River, NY (Gunning Bedford), Smacktone Studios in Montclair, NJ, (Seaflower) and everyone else that was not mentioned you have no idea how much you all mean to us and we hope to bring our sound back to you all as soon as we can.  Both of our albums are still available for download and mail-order on our bandcamp site for anyone who did not get a chance to grab

Matt Felitto's Basement 8/8 with Gunning Bedford

a copy at one of our shows.

Cheers,

Matty Deis
